This is a talk I did in Washington DC at the AR2008 Conference. I prefer prevention and early intervention by engaging children about the real world while they still care enough to change. Children deserve the truth and are the key to change. I feel good when I speak the truth. Would you rather try to convince an adult to become vegan after their minds are molded? Best of all it is all good and they say thank you – much the same as who ever gave you your heads up is always high in appreciation. I try my best to paint the big picture and at the same time offer concrete solutions as well as why we need to attack the problem from a new angle. That is my religion. I feel bad when I am silent. They are not brainwashed yet.
